Die dae is verby dat professionele uitgewers die skrywersmark oorheers. Teksboodskappe, whatsapps, Facebook, en Tik-Tok is ons nuwe platforms. Dis ons nuwe kansels. Derduisende nuwe stemme wat hier besig om die wêreld te verskuif, sal nooit winkels se boekrakke haal nie.
Van opwindende nuwe skrywers op nuwe platforms gepraat – onlangs loop ek ’n juweel van ’n blog raak. Hierdie skryfster se belewenis van Jesus het my asem weggeslaan. Hoor net hoe skryf Lulu op haar blog in die eerste persoon oor Jesus:
“Ek (Jesus) ken die pyn van binnekringverraad. Ek ken die stukkend van verwerping. Ek ken die seer van spot. Ek ken die lyding van misbruik. Ek weet hoe VOEL geknoopte derms van splagnitzomai-omgee. Onwillekeurig met slegs ‘n AAN skakelaar; Ongeag of jy verwelkom of vermy word…”
Mooi né! Jesus kom in volkleur aan die woord. Ek hoor hier van Jesus se splagnitzomai-omgee. Terloops, dit is een van die aangrypende Griekse woorde wat die evangelies gebruik vir Jesus se intense medelye. Splagnitzomai beskryf Jesus se diepste innerlike emosies. Dit verwoord sy in-voel en sy saam-voel. Boonop het hierdie omgee-hart van Jesus slegs ’n AAN-skakelaar. Sy hart skeur elke keer as Hy siekes en stukkende raakloop. Sy hart skeur as Hy hongeriges sien. Sy hart skeur ook vir elke verlore mens.
Jesus het sy eie goeie hart in ons almal oorgeplant wat Hom navolg. Soos die jammerhartige Samaritaan, wat ook so ‘n omgee-hart by God gekry het, wil ons graag dien en graag help. Daarom dat mense se laste gedurig ’n rusplek op ons eie skouers kry.
