Where THERE minus T becomes HERE
The only One
Who is always
THERE
when no one else is.
How is it,
then, that I
so often not
approach Him first?
Is it,
perhaps, because
I have to seek deeper
to find Him?
Or, is it,
perhaps, because
I forget that
He has never left?
Or, is it,
perhaps, because
I seek solace
in the wrong realm?
Yes, I yearn
to SEE His eyes,
to FEEL His embrace,
to HEAR His voice
HERE…, where I
SEE disdainful eyes,
FEEL repulsed distance,
HEAR rejection
But, I don’t have
to find Him, He
found me — THERE,
and He is…
The only One
Who is always
HERE
when no one else is.

These words resonate with me. Looking back, so many times in my life.
Surely the words of every Christian at some point.
Thank you Lulu
